Join New Shoots: A year long wildlife & conservation programme for 14 – 20 year olds in the Chilterns. Part of our Chalk, Cherries and Chairs project.

Do you love being outdoors? Are you concerned about climate change? Or do you love nature and wildlife and want to learn more about how to protect them? Do you live in Buckinghamshire or near the central Chilterns?

We’re looking for young people aged 14 – 20 to take part in ‘New Shoots’ from July 2023 – March 2024 in the Chilterns. New Shoots is a nature, wildlife and conservation programme designed by and for young people.

New Shoots is a fantastic chance to visit beautiful places in the central Chilterns, learn more about wildlife and plants and how to help them thrive. Plus get involved in helping to manage habitats for wildlife and address climate change.

It’s completely free of charge to take part, thanks to our National Lottery Heritage funding! More information and details about how to apply can be found on the Chilterns AONB website.
