John Lewis & Partners support Chiltern Rangers

We were delighted to receive a funding donation last week from John Lewis & Partners.
Dawn Stokoe, Community Liaison Co-ordinator presented Chief Ranger John Shaw and our Fab Friday volunteer group with the cheque, during a visit to a sunny Keep Hill Wood in High Wycombe.

Fab Friday in the river

Last Friday Rangers Andrew and Dan took Fab Friday out on a cleaning mission of the Wye from High Wycombe Retail Park to the back of the old Homebase store at Wye Dene. Four shopping trolleys (kindly returned to their correct location), a bicycle, and thirty rubbish bags later, we called the deed done and returned to base.

North West Laf projects 2018/19

Chiltern Rangers engaged with 192 young people and 70 adult volunteers who contributed 876 hours of volunteering on sites in the North West Chilterns. Many of the schools/youth organisations and families we worked with were new to Chiltern Rangers.

South West Chiltern Laf projects 2018/19

At the end of these sessions Chiltern Rangers engaged with 157 young people and 90 adult volunteers who contributed 371 hours of volunteering on four sites in the South West Chilterns. We worked with two schools new to Chiltern Rangers as well as Bucks Young Carers and are grateful for the support of the Woodland Trust, BBOWT and Lord Parmoor.
