COMMUNITY GROUPS

Community groups

We love working with groups of people.

People of all ages and abilities are welcome, if you care about the environment and want to help look after your local patch for nature then look no further.

We all know how working outdoors in nature is amazing for our mental health & well being  and how time spent in nature leaves you positively glowing afterwards.

The projects and sessions we can offer will do that for you as well as:

  • Teaching you new skills like using saws and loppers
  • Meeting other like minded people and having a fun social session
  • Giving back to your community
  • Learning about our local habitats and the wildlife that lives there.

You can learn about some of the local heritage from the industrial such as chair, paper or charcoal making to the more traditional like coppicing or hedge laying.

If you are a uniform group such as scouts, sea cadets or guides you can work towards a badge.

Youth groups are always welcome too as are volunteers working towards DofE, NCS projects and well as a host of others

We are also keen to bring new groups into the environment to have a go for the first time – perhaps you play sport for a team and want to give back to the community and meet our collective environmental targets – this is a perfect way to do that.

Don’t just take our word for it : Take a look at some of our past and recent projects to give you an idea of what we have been getting up to in your local area.

Whatever kind of community group you’re involved with contact us today and find out how we can help.
