There are many ways your organisation can partner with and support Chiltern Rangers, we have listed some examples below.  If there is something you are thinking of that isn’t listed below then please get in touch.  We are open to all ideas!!

Working in Partnership

Our environmental partnership with Origin Doors and Windows helps to offset their carbon emissions by planting trees and hedgerows in the local area with the local community and engaging local schools.  We also love when their teams come and join us for a day of conservation work in the Chilterns.

Stream Loyalty provide us with much needed marketing and customer loyalty support.  They wanted to give back to a local organisation and we were delighted when they asked to partner with us.  Stream joined us for a Be A Ranger day and created this fabulous short film.

 Expert Volunteers

We are always on the look out for expert volunteers, professionals who can help with our back of house operations – your skills and expertise in HR, marketing, legal (to name just a few) would be greatly appreciated.  This can flex to suit you and is great for new blended working positions.

Sponsorship

We run a varied programme of conservation work across the whole community.  This could not happen without the funding we receive from our sponsors.  Working with and engaging new young people is a key part of what we do and our Stepping Stones project has been invaluable to many.

We also have a new community nursery and other ongoing projects that could really be boosted with your sponsorship.  All budgets catered for!

Donations

Our gloves and tools are in constant need of replacement.  Prices range from about £5 for gloves to £50 for a pair of loppers.

Refreshments for our army of volunteers (and we had approximately 6000 last year – giving 19,000 hours of their time), always need replenishing.  Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits provide much needed sustenance during our days out!

If you have work boots or wellies that you are able to donate for use by our volunteers, they will find a welcome home here!
