Celebration of the Chilterns – Chiltern Rangers sign up event A morning in the Woods
3 October, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Join us for a morning in the woods and learn about woodland wildlife and how to make it better for the animals that live there. Families and individuals are all welcome (under 16s bring an adult along!) Wear old clothes and sturdy footwear and don’t forget to bring a flask and maybe a marshmallow for the fire!
John – Marsh and Micklefield Community Ranger- and Ranger Steph will be there, and John will be making sculptures for the Gomm’s Wood Sculpture Trail.-

Family Event
Our aim is to make conservation based volunteering accessible and enjoyable for young people. 1 If the person is in Year 9 or below from 1st September that year, they must be accompanied by an appropriate adult - parent guardian carer etc. 2 If they are in year 10-13 then they can attend alone but must: a) be signed in and out by a responsible adult on the day who must leave emergency contact details or b) be pre-authorised by completion of the 'U18 & Work Placement Form' giving consent and disclosure of medical information in writing by an appropriate adult who must also supply their emergency contact details. If pre-authorised in writing, the young person can sign themselves in (as an U18) at events but must provide the emergency contact details for that day.
