Bring the family to the Funges Meadow Conservation Village event with volunteers from Bucks Young Carers.

Get involved in some of the following activities that will be taking place at these events:

  • Conservation-Silt shifting and gravel spreading to encourage Trout spawning in the river.  Mining bees habitat works, planting and spit protection.
  • Wildflower planting to encourage the butterflies and other insects.
  • Pond dipping and river investigation to find out what lives here.
  • Art installations with Dan Wilson
  • Birdbox painting
  • Filming training: Oral history interviews and filming What lives here short films.
