Heathland & Pond Restoration Community Session – Littleworth Common

19 February @ 11:00 am - 2:30 pm

Come and help conserve this special area of heathland. We will be removing silver birch and other species to prevent them taking over this rare habitat.

Meet at 11.00 am – Entrance opposite the Blackwood Arms.  Park at the Jolly Woodman, Common Lane, SL1 8PP

Please bring some lunch if staying all day.  All tools, gloves, hot drinks and biscuits supplied. We look forward to seeing there.  Thank you for your continued support.

Conservation session

Family Event

Our aim is to make conservation based volunteering accessible and enjoyable for young people. 1 If the person is in Year 9 or below from 1st September that year, they must be accompanied by an appropriate adult - parent guardian carer etc. 2 If they are in year 10-13 then they can attend alone but must: a) be signed in and out by a responsible adult on the day who must leave emergency contact details or b) be pre-authorised by completion of the 'U18 & Work Placement Form' giving consent and disclosure of medical information in writing by an appropriate adult who must also supply their emergency contact details. If pre-authorised in writing, the young person can sign themselves in (as an U18) at events but must provide the emergency contact details for that day.
