Follow Dancers End Lane and Bottom Road from the bottom of Tring Hill on the old A41. This is a long, winding, narrow lane – don’t give up! Look for the ornate red-brick Victorian pumping station on your left, just before the lane climbs steeply through the beech woods. Turn into the drive, then sharp left into the car park.
Wear sturdy shoes and warm outdoor clothing and bring some lunch. All gloves, tools and hot drinks & biscuits will be supplied.
We look forward to seeing you there. Thank you for your continued support.

Our aim is to make conservation based volunteering accessible and enjoyable for young people. 1 If the person is in Year 9 or below from 1st September that year, they must be accompanied by an appropriate adult - parent guardian carer etc. 2 If they are in year 10-13 then they can attend alone but must: a) be signed in and out by a responsible adult on the day who must leave emergency contact details or b) be pre-authorised by completion of the 'U18 & Work Placement Form' giving consent and disclosure of medical information in writing by an appropriate adult who must also supply their emergency contact details. If pre-authorised in writing, the young person can sign themselves in (as an U18) at events but must provide the emergency contact details for that day.
