Chiltern Rangers engaged with 192 young people and 70 adult volunteers who contributed 876 hours of volunteering on sites in the North West Chilterns. Many of the schools/youth organisations and families we worked with were new to Chiltern Rangers.
At the end of these sessions Chiltern Rangers engaged with 157 young people and 90 adult volunteers who contributed 371 hours of volunteering on four sites in the South West Chilterns. We worked with two schools new to Chiltern Rangers as well as Bucks Young Carers and are grateful for the support of the Woodland Trust, BBOWT and Lord Parmoor.

The Field Studies Council are running an ‘identifying trees in winter course’ on 16th February and still have some spaces available for anyone interested.
We ran two of three launch sessions at WDC’s land Kingsmead Park by our depot in January 2019 and our new river volunteer team now has up to 20 regular river volunteers.
