AQA training and General training

General training sessions

We can also offer tailor-made training sessions (half or full days) for staff, key volunteers and land owners. Content to suit your needs but could include: woodland management, working with volunteers, surveying, risk assessment, community engagement and much more.

 

AQA Unit Award Scheme

At Chiltern Rangers we are able to offer accreditations in a variety of practical and employability skills (entry level to level two). These include:

  • Woodland Conservation: Use and Care of Hand Tools
  • Introduction to Woodland Management for Nature Conservation
  • Coppicing Woodland Shrubs and Trees
  • Health and Safety: Risk Assessment
  • Employability Skills: Team Working
  • Employability Skills: Self-Management

The units are short units that can usually be delivered by working with us over a few sessions and used as stepping stones to qualifications and employment. Delivery of the units does need to be funded but if you or anyone you know would be interested then please get in contact.
